Habersham Bancorp Named One of Georgia’s Top Companies

Habersham Bancorp was named this week as one of Georgia’s Top 100 public companies in the “Best of Business 2006” rankings.  This list, published annually by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, ranks publicly traded companies headquartered in the state based on their 2005 performance.   The rankings are compiled by analysts at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, an international accounting and business consulting firm.  Five weighted variables are considered in the final ranking:  annual revenue, year-over-year revenue change, annual percent change in profit margin, return on equity, and total return on investment for 2005.   Habersham Bancorp achieved an overall ranking of 54 in the total list of 100 and was ranked number 13 in the banking category.
